PREVIOUS DEVELOPMENTS

Hartfield Homes recently completed a small complex of 18 houses. This particular development was partly
a conversion of a listed farm steading and the formation of new housing to complete the courtyard. As with all of our developments we take care to marry the traditional with the contemporary and be sympathetic to the surroundings.

The steading was originally built in 1869 by James Waddell as the home farm for Inch Estates and lived in
by the Adamson family. It remained as such from 1906 until the 1990s. Hartfield Homes retained and or upgraded many original features and in doing so we are ensuring the ongoing enjoyment of the building
while making sure that what has gone before remains.

We have also built 8 flats with 3 shops in the centre of Haddington, where once again particular attention had to be paid to the historic detail as we had to replace the original building which had been destroyed in WW2.
